Reliance Valve's Anti-Legionella Valve reduces the risk of harmful bacteria such as Legionella from contaminating stored cold water within expansion vessels by maintaining circulation and eliminating stagnation.
With a wide selection of sizes available, the Anti-Legionella Valve can be used in applications ranging from point-of-use water heater expansion vessels to larger plant room storage tanks.
The Anti-Legionella Valve converts a standard single connection expansion vessel into a ‘flow through’ type by diverting a portion of the flow into the vessel, so that the water content is continuously renewed, reducing the risk of water stagnation, which can cause bacteria growth.
